Premise:
Mina was an average girl, living in an average town, with average grades. Until one crisp October afternoon, after meeting a man with red eyes, everything changes. Demons exist, and a secret society within the Church (known only as “The Order”) sends Paladins to protect the five “Sword Bearers” of which Mina is one. How do you protect the keys to the gates of Hell from demons, when your own humanity is in question?

The story so far:
After leaving St. Anne’s, Mina and Gabriel encounter a sinister woman named Angela, she seemed to know Gabriel. She attacked the pair of them after leaving suddenly, Gabriel and Mina rush back to St. Anne’s…

The morning after, Mina finds herself in genuine question of her humanity…But Gabriel’s explanations leave more questions than answers…

The Characters:

Mina Parker The story’s protagonist, an average 15 year old girl. She’s supposed to be one of the “Sword Bearers” but what that means, she isn’t sure. After a near-death experience, she underwent a sudden personality change, and shortly lost all recollection of the event…

Gabriel Stone
A 16 year old boy that Mina just happened to bump into on her way from school. He lost his mother just last month, and says that she was murdered. He’s one of the Paladins within The Order– When Mina asked where the others were, he avoided the question. He has past ties to Angela, but what their relationship was isn’t clear.

Father James Stone The Local Parish priest and Gabriel’s older cousin,
he seems to know quite a bit about who Mina really is and
has a very kind disposition.

Agares
A mysterious man with red eyes, Gabriel says he’s a dangerous demon….But there seems to be something more to him than meets the eye….

Angela
A sinister and sadistic woman, she claimed to be “an old friend” of Gabriel’s, but it would seem that the pair are anything but friends. She attacked Mina and Gabriel, nearly suffocating Mina. She seemed to find out what she was looking for and left, promising to come back to “play” with them later.

Damien
An arrogant and seemingly knowledgeable demon with a teenage appearance. He and Angela do not get along very well at all. He claims that Mina, like him, is a clone, but of who is uncertain…
