Anna (Zexion, Zeku, Jess) is a short (5′1) seventeen-year-old manga artist/writer/musician. She loves anything to do with art and enjoys multiple forms of creative expression (from cosplay wig making to photography). She puts her art above everything else in life and is currently working on two manga projects; Sword of Heaven and Devil’s Advocate.
She can usually be found drawing, writing, playing the guitar or talking to her friends via MSN instant messenger. She has the bad habit of making jokes (often perverted) that aren’t funny or rely heavily on internet memes and of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. She also bites her nails but justifies this as “necessary” for playing the guitar. She’s an immensely shy creature and often panics when suddenly approached or in a large crowd of people.
Anna is a big fan of almost every genre of music (although she doesn’t quite enjoy most hip-hop/rap/R&B) She has an alto-voice range and very little faith in her singing ability, although she really enjoys it. She plays the acoustic guitar and believes she’s doing pretty well for being self-taught and only having played for about a year and a half.
She is currently not studying anything in particular although she’s working (hard?) to get her GED so she’s ready to go to college in California in about two years (or so). She hopes to be able to move in with two of her best friends.
Anna also enjoys cooking and baking (though she’s not such a big fan of cleaning up afterward). She’s a highly disorganized person who actually seems to thrive in clutter (she loses stuff in a well-organized environment). Her preferred medium is watercolor and dip pens although she also rather enjoys digital media (she’d do it more if she had a tablet.) She’s also a role-playing addict and a HUGE fan of Kingdom Hearts.
She is inspired by Naoko Takeuchi, Tetsuya Nomura, Hiromu Arakawa, rain, weird photographs and things that most people find “ugly”. She loves black and white photography and taking photos of urban settings (and self-portraits)
